  • Reiki therapy is based on an Eastern belief that vital energy flows through your body. The idea is that a Reiki practitioner uses gentle touch -- or places their hands just above your body -- to help guide this energy in a way that promotes balance and healing. Please let the facilitator know if you would not like to be touched during the session, the energy will still flow even if there is no pyhsical touch.

  • Our hypnotherapist will use relaxation techniques to help you reach a state where the conscious part of your mind is relaxed and your subconscious part is more open to suggestion.

Once you're in that state, our hypnotherapist will begin to recommend ways for you to reach your goals through suggestion and mental images of success. After therapy, they'll bring you back to being fully aware. Unlike some portrayals of hypnosis in the movies or on television, you don't lose control of what you're doing, and you'll probably remember what happens during the session.

Hypnosis should not be conducted for people with serious mental health issues, including:

    • Hallucinations

    • Delusions

    • Drug and alcohol misuse

    • Schizophrenia

Hypnotherapy in a group setting is also not suitable for someone who has experienced significant trauma, that has not been addressed in therapy previously.

If you are in doubt, please consult a medical professional before booking.

If a group hypnotherapy session is not for you, perhaps you’d prefer to consult our hypnotherapist and work together privately. You can reach out to our in-house hypnotherapist hello@tatjana-lucia.com for more information on private treatments.

  • Gong Baths for some people can be triggering, as it is a strong noise and deep vibration that you will experience. Some people really enjoy Gong Bathing and fall asleep, whilst other people find it to be too much for the nervous system.

We’d recommend that if you are highly sensitive and prone to panic or anxiety attacks that a Gong Bath is probably best avoided. We have other more restorative based classes that would be more suitable.
